The Kinda place you hope to find when traveling! You feel welcomed and at home right when you walk in!Andrea is the best! The Food is AWESOME
The most authentic Irish pub in the port. If you want a real experience, you come here. Over 50 Irish Whiskeys in a true 1700's building. Don't think this is for the faint of heart, swearing when necessary is permitted. Time to put the kids to bed and have an true pub experience in a classic New England town with heritage to boot.
Andrea is welcoming and friendly. Drinks made perfectly. We split wings and a "toasted". Perfect!
Being Scottish and having spent time in Ireland I'm used to proper Irish bars not your American pretenders! I can assure you this place is every bit the Irish Pub! The staff were amazing and so friendly. Tracey who runs the pub was amazing. We ended up staying for food and had the bangers and mash, this was quite frankly the most nostalgic meal I've had since moving to the US, it was frankly amazing. We will be holidaying in Maine more often and will be adding this to our list of regular visits! Amazing people, amazing food and amazing little pub!
Great irish pub .
Great Irish music, super friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, what more do you want. I got the Irish stew which was recommended and fantastic! Very rich and full of flavor. The band was great, we loved our experience there.
Solid Pub food with great service
Awesome pub, terrific people, love this place!!
Great food and amazing atmosphere. Love the cocktails and live music. Excellent service. Will go back!
Delicious! Good, drinks, Irish music - what else should we ask for? A must stop. Grab a drink, listen to Irish music and make new friends!
Made a reservation for 2 Saturday night. Was curious to sit outside and listen to music over dinner. What a terrific evening. We had the Irish stew and pan seared haddock. Both were delicious. Met the musician, Travis, on his break. Really fun music and there were many locals it seemed, singing along and clapping to the songs. We were joining in before we realized it and are thrilled to be new locals ourselves. Finished the evening with Apple pie ala mode with two spoons. Glad my wife was too full from her fish to share 🙂
Rude waitress
Went for drinks to sit outside. A bit crammed with lots of tables. Attentive service. Did not eat the food. Beer selection is poor, you will not find craft beer of this menu.
We absolutely adore Ryan's Corner House Irish Pub😍 The owners and their family make you feel like you haven't left home... You are essentially one of their own! Super casual and relaxed atmosphere allows anyone in Kennebunkport to feel at home 💟 All of the way from TX!
Adorable cozy joint. Great food and service. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend
Ryan's is a really cute Irish pub which is perfect for when you want to sit down and relax. I'm sure it gets busy at night during tourist season, but I've only been there for a late lunch on weekday afternoons when it's quiet and I love it for that. Food and drink have always been really good.
Best bartender ever, Brandi and awesome lobster mac and cheese. Best gin and tonic with Hendricks as well. Going to see our new favorite bartender in Wells on THU.
Terrible service. No service so we walked out after waiting and waiting. Great music....too bad.
My daughter and I stopped at Ryan's during the summer. The outside was so inviting. We were not planning on eating but to have a drink. After we went inside it was decorated so cute and charming we decided to sit inside. We ordered the fish and chips and I highly recommend. When we vacation in Kennebunkport we will definitely make this a regular stop.
Apps were good Great oudoor seating. Fun pub atmosphere
My wife and I were staying at the Kingsport and all the staff said we must go to the best place in town across the street we have very little expirence with anything Irish and it was the best time we had in more then three decades of going to Kennebunkport the staff coached us on how to get the Irish experience and with many great drinks and Irish food we had a blast luckily a nice officer helped us stagger across the street and we will be there next week bringing several family members that were suppose to travel to Ireland but got cancelled thanks to chinas covid investation so this will be great for them you better get some extra Guinness on hand we like to drink thank you best regards Duane and Sherie Black
Staff is great. Food and drink selection outstanding!
Great good and drinks. Live entertainment outside was great.
Fun place, great food and drinks!
Great bartender and live music.
Cozy little Irish pub,but no one is there. They need to get some flags outside or offer something to get noticed.
The BEST Guinness pour I have had in years.Fresh, delicious and a Shamrock.
Outstanding atmosphere, outstanding people, outstanding food, and an outstanding time. Did I mention that it was outstanding? Tracy and Joe do an amazing job bringing a small slice of Ireland to the region, and the experience is top drawer.
Great people, great environment! Fantastic find!
Awesome food, great atmosphere and music
Irish singer Jim Brady was awesome (every Friday night) and our food (burger and Shepherds pie) was very good. Ate outside on a beautiful cool Maine evening. We will be going back soon!
Ryan's is a fantastic little pub. The owners are lovely, as well as the staff. They serve great food, and all of the staple brews you would expect from an Irish pub. On top of that, it's very cozy and inviting; the roof is covered in dollar bills signed by locals as well as patrons from across the country. Very easy to walk to, and to top it off, they do trivia nights every Wednesday at 7.
Wonderful Irish pub! When the weather is nice, they have a great patio to sit outside.
I've been asked to elaborate on my review.Four of us ordered drinks and food; 3 steaks and an Irish stew. The stew was awful, lacking depth of flavour and the meat was dry and tasteless. It was as if the meat had never been near a stew until it was put in the bowl and had gravy poured over. The steaks were requested with differing amounts if cooking however, my friends couldn't tell which were which. Each has mess of poorly caramelized onions dumped on them.We wondered if the waiting staff would ask what was wrong with us not eating so much of the food. She didn't. E.g. I left 75% of the stew.We paid and left, later we dined elsewhere. The Guinness was good.Of my many trips to New England, this time for a month, this will be remembered for being the worst dining experience.
Cute as a cupcake. Unique random find that we are still talking about and cannot wait to visit again. Great food and service and the Friday night entertainment was lovely.
Music and food were both excellent! So great to get out again.
Beer battered fish and chips was very delicious
Food was not good. Guinness was poured well.
Excellent friendly service and of course Great live music!
The oeople were very friendly. Food and beer was great.
We weren't expecting to eat here twice in one day, but we did! The crab cakes and fish n chips at lunch (where we ducked in out of the rain just for a beer and surprised ourselves by eating again) were so well-cooked and fresh, when it came time to think about dinner, we didn't even feel like we were missing out on anything by going back. The broiled seafood platter was a little under-seasoned but since we live in the south where everything is a salt lick, we assume it is our palates that are more off than the seasoning. Lobster roll was just as good as the famous places around K'port, minus the wait or the upcharge. While this place wasn't a steal, the prices were reasonable, especially compared to other nearby eateries, but the quality and service made it a wonderful value. Already have recommended, would definitely go back!
Tiny little restaurant so we weren’t expecting too much. Our waitress was a wonderful, friendly Irish woman and the food was excellent. We had the lobster mac and cheese and crab stuffed haddock and they were amazing. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked great. We will be back to try more.
An excellent place to stop for a drink and so.e lunch.
Sunday is primetime here for sing-along Irish music. The staff is great. Food great. Many good taps on hand to treat your thirst and taste for cheery libations. I LOVE the Sunday music.
The menu is limited, but absolutely fantastic. Best onion rings I've ever had. Our server was a gem and the atmosphere was delightful.
Quintessential Irish pub. When u walk in it feels like home. It’s a little small but I personally feel like it enhances the vibe there. I’ll be back lol
Walked into this place and instantly felt right at home. The staff was super friendly. Food was fantastic! Service was great! Overall fantastic experience. Highly recommend Ryan's.
It's ok, it's your pretty typical Irish pub. I would stick to beer here, the cocktail drinks weren't very strong or delicious, but they aren't necessarily bad. Location is nice right in town, though sometimes the road can be noisy if you're sitting outside. Parking in town.
Nice place to relax and chill out
Such an enjoyable experience. Brandy, I think was her name, was a phenomenal waitress. The food was perfect and the Guinness was great. As the High Kings say "Where ever you around the world you'll find an Irish pub."
